The entire process should take about 60-90 minutes to complete. The steps include completing an Informed Consent, answering a medical history questionnaire, having blood drawn, and donating your tissue. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Before Saturday, please watch our Standardized Informed Consent presentation HERE. If you don’t have a chance to do it before you come, we will have a couple of stations for you to watch it before you meet with one of our research team members.
Before arriving at our event this Saturday, please review the following questions:
- Do you have a new cough or worsening cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, fever or loss of taste or smell withing the last 5 days?
- Do you have a positive or pending COVID-19 test or have you been ordered to quarantine in the last 5 days?
If you answer yes to either, please call to let us know that you are unable to donate. Your safety and that of our volunteers and other donors is our highest priority.
The event will be held at the Women’s Clinic at the IU Simon Cancer Center, 1030 W. Please note that the bridge over Michigan will be open and you can access the 2nd floor of the Cancer Center from the 3rd floor of the parking garage. We will validate your parking.
