Trainees with at least one mentor who is an IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center member are eligible to apply for trainee membership.
Members will have exclusive access to travel funding awards and receive invitations to cancer center events and trainee programs.
The Trainee members will be required to provide contact information to maintain communications with them and to follow-up with them as they progress in their careers.

The IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination internal advisory board includes one seat reserved for a trainee advocate who serves a two-year term. The trainee advocate is responsible for representing the best interests and perspectives of IU School of Medicine students and cancer center trainee members. Advocates are nominated and elected by the trainee members every two years. Eligible nominees must be trainee members who are postdoctoral researchers or who are IU School of Medicine graduate students and who are not in the final year of their degree programs.
