The theme of this year's Gathering is "Research Cures Cancer" and our goal is to educate, empower, and build awareness around the intricacies of lung cancer research, address barriers and mistrust, and discuss the importance of participation in clinical trials to contribute to the ongoing advancements in treatments. It will be an educational and empowering way to kick off Lung Cancer Awareness Month.
