Cancer Prevention & Screening

Helping Hoosiers understand importance of screenings, vaccinations

The Office of Community Outreach & Education offers a variety of ways to support communities in understanding the importance of cancer screening and vaccinations, as well as linking community members to providers who can perform these screenings and vaccinations.

Our Colorectal Cancer Prevention & Screening Risk Assessment pilot program, for example, brings together partners across the state to increase awareness of colorectal cancer and increase screening for eligible participants 45 years of age and older.
