Expertise with in vitro assays
The Cellular Response Technologies (CRT) team conducts validated and highly reproducible in vitro assays to evaluate angiogenesis, proliferation, cell death, and metabolism in normal and diseased cells derived from animal sources and patients samples.
Customized multi-parametric flow cytometry is available to define in detail cellular phenotypes and frequencies in a given population.
Areas of expertise include analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells, endothelial cells, hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, and cancer stem cells/cancer-initiating cells. These specific assays offered by the CRT function as quantitative analytical tools and potential biomarkers of disease.
