There's still a lot we don't know about multiple myeloma. That's why research is so important—and you can help with just a simple saliva sample.
It’s called the Indiana Myeloma Registry, and we’re encouraging every patient living or treated in Indiana who has myeloma or its nonmalignant preconditions to participate.
This data will allow researchers to study the influence of risk factors on myeloma including race, weight, geographic location and environmental factors. A big part of the study will be also identifying and addressing racial disparities that exist across all stages of the disease—from screening and prevention to diagnosis and care.
If you have multiple myeloma, MGUS, smoldering myeloma, or other plasma cell disorder, please consider joining the study.
