Skin Cancer Prevention: What You Need to Know This Summer and Beyond
As we head into summer, we’ll be spending more time outdoors. William Wooden, M.D., the James E. Bennett Professor of Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine and a skin cancer expert at the cancer center, will tell us how we can best protect ourselves against the sun’s damaging rays. He’ll also tell us about risk factors – such as skin types and genetics – screening, treatment options and more.
Mary Robertson, the prevention and screening program lead with the cancer center’s Office of Community Outreach and Engagement, will moderate.
