Biography
Katie McGill, MSM, is the vice president for clinical services at Indiana University Health supporting the mission of the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center as associate director of system integration.
In her role, McGill has overall responsibility for clinical operations of the health system’s adult academic cancer program locations as well as responsibility for the successful development and implementation of cancer services strategies for the health system.
She has 20 years’ experience in multi-specialty health care leadership and clinical operations and has been in cancer leadership with IU Health for more than 12 years. Her key strengths are operations, strategic business planning and project implementation, notably developing one of the health system’s most recent cancer centers, an 85,000-square-foot integration of academic and general oncology medicine.
A native of Indianapolis, McGill earned a bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration from Indiana University, a master’s degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University and certification in executive leadership from Cornell University.
