Vote now: U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals survey is now open
Each year, U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) surveys the expert opinion of physicians to assist in the assessment of hospital quality, clinical outcomes and other important measures that determine a hospital’s national ranking. The 2025 USNWR Best Hospitals expert opinion survey voting takes place in February and March – your vote makes a difference.
Why vote?
Your vote for Indiana University Health Medical Center highlights the expertise of our faculty, staff, physicians, and care teams who provide advanced care and innovative research. These rankings help drive interest with prospective patients, as well as retain and recruit physicians and faculty.
Your impact in 2024:
Thanks to your support, IU Health Medical Center oncology achieved key milestones in last year’s rankings:
- Improved overall USNWR specialty score by 41 points and earned a high performing ranking.
- Achieved an expert score that outperformed 16 of the top 50 hospitals nationally ranked in oncology (32%).
- Increased from 3/5 to 4/5 in 30-day survival score.
- 95% of voting-eligible IU Health oncologists are registered on Doximity.
Who can vote?
Physicians board-certified in one of the fifteen voting adult specialties, with a claimed Doximity profile and current license and board certification information on their Doximity profile will receive an invitation to complete the survey via email and Doximity notifications.
How to vote?
Doximity is the largest medical network, with over 80% of U.S. physicians registered and the exclusive platform utilized for USNWR best hospital expert opinion surveys.
The survey will ask where you would send your patients to treat challenging cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, melanoma, breast, kidney, colon, prostate, pancreatic, head and neck, orthopedic, uterine and ovarian cancers if money, location, and insurance was not a factor.
Registered Doximity users who wish to participate in the online survey should:
- Watch for an email from Doximity about the annual member survey.
- If you do not see the email, you can still vote by logging in to Doximity.com with your username and password during the voting period.
- Once logged in, look for a U.S. News button at the top of the newsfeed and click on it or check your notifications for a ‘Submit nominations...’ prompt.
- For adult specialists, the survey will allow you to list up to five hospitals in your field.
