Up to 500 women will be able to donate healthy breast tissue at the upcoming All-Star Cure event, a partnership between the Komen Tissue Bank at the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and the WNBA All-Star 2025 Host Committee. Women under age 40 and women of color are especially encouraged to donate healthy breast tissue. Efforts are ongoing to reach this bold goal of 500 participants.
For Henry, operations manager of the Komen Tissue Bank at the cancer center, it’s déjà vu all over again. Back in 2012, Henry was deeply involved in Indy’s Super Cure, a partnership with the 2012 SuperBowl host committee.
