About Caitlin
Why do you do what you do? Or what brought you here?
I feel like the KTB chose me. I was feeling a little lost after I graduated college, when the KTB showed me an amazing path that allows me to help make the world a better, cancer-free place. I really enjoy working with kind-hearted people to fight a problem that hits close to home.
Favorite KTB story/experience?
So far, my favorite KTB experience has been learning about the KTB’s efforts to make a difference in breast cancer research by educating and recruiting men and women of color. I enjoyed experiencing these efforts firsthand through our participation at the Health and Wellness Fair.
Other passions in life:
I recently went on a road trip out west, stopping at state and national parks the whole way. Now, I can’t stop dreaming of all the parks I’m going to visit and the beautiful views I’m going to see.
People would be surprised to know that you…
Back in high school, I rebuilt an engine to put into my first car since it came without one.
Ice cream or pizza?
Superman ice cream! There’s something so magical about eating unnaturally brightly colored food.
