Researchers are invited to upcoming Manifold office hours

Cancer center researchers are invited to learn more about  the Manifold platform and explore the newest features and data release, including newly integrated EHR data. Whether you’re just getting started or already using Manifold for your projects, these sessions are a great opportunity to deepen your understanding and see how it can meet your research needs and accelerate discovery.

Manifold office hours will take place on Zoom 10 – 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, and 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19. Email Jill Henry, jihenry@iu.edu, to receive an Outlook appointment with the Zoom link.

The NCCN 2026 Breast Cancer Congress with updates from the 2025 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium will be held in Chicago and virtually on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026.

NCCN member institution experts will review the current standard of care for patients with breast cancer, the latest NCCN Guidelines recommendations, and recent clinical research updates.  Access the agenda.

The program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT. For those attending in-person, registration and breakfast begin at 7:45 a.m. CT.

Hoosier Cancer Research Network to share IIT report in upcoming seminar

The Hoosier Cancer Research Network leaders will share an overview of the HCRN’s investigator-initiated trials (IIT) report, its key findings and emerging trends shaping the IIT landscape. Cancer center director Kelvin Lee, MD, is among the panelists. The free, virtual event, Key Insights: HCRN IIT Report Virtual Seminar and Panel Discussion, will be  3-3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12.  Request a calendar invite.

Member headlines and highlights

Hari Nakshatri, PhD (TMM), has been appointed chair of the NCI Biospecimen Science U01 Steering Committee for a three-year term, beginning Dec. 1.

Pat Loehrer, MD (EDT), was honored as a Fraternity, Sorority and Cooperative Life (FSCL) at Purdue 150 Most Influential Alumni. FSCL celebrated the award recipients as part of the 150 Years of Legacy at Purdue University on Sept. 26-27. See the full list.
