Facing the challenges of multiple surgeries, Jennifer Phelps joined the Multidisciplinary Oncology Vitality and Exercise (MOVE) program and transformed her life through exercise and support. She celebrated her recovery with a trip to Iceland with her twins and participated in the Indiana Women’s Running Festival’s inaugural Get a MOVE on Cancer walk last fall.

Chemo drug may cause significant hearing loss in longtime cancer survivors
Part of The Platinum Study lead by Lois Travis, MD, this study tracked a cohort of testicular cancer survivors who received cisplatin-based chemotherapy. The team followed the patients for an average of 14 years, revealing that 78% experience significant difficulties in everyday listening situations, negatively impacting their quality of life.
