Dr. Hanna's research interests include:
Scientific interest in thoracic oncology and germ cell tumors. I serve as the Medical Director for the Thoracic Oncology Program. I have clinics two days per week to see patients with lung cancer and testicular cancer. The Thoracic Oncology Program is a national leader in lung cancer care and research. Our areas of lung cancer research focus include the use of immunotherapy in patients with stage I-III lung cancer and combination therapies involving immunotherapy and anti-angiogenics in patients with advanced lung cancer. In addition, the Thoracic Oncology Program is sponsoring basic science research as it pertains to lung cancer. I am also involved in the research and treatment of testicular cancer.
