Dr. Schulte's research interests include:
My independent research program investigates topics at the interface of synthetic chemistry, molecular imaging, and cellular metabolism with a focus on human health and underlying disease biology. My laboratory is primarily focused on targeting cellular metabolism utilizing molecular imaging techniques, emphasizing positron emission tomography (PET), for early intervention and management of advanced disease. In addition to molecular imaging, my lab works on the discovery and optimization of small molecules to probe biological pathways and identify novel therapeutics to deploy clinically in oncology.
