Dr. Nephew's research interests include:
• Examining epigenetic changes in cancer (solid tumors) • Translational research and clinical trials testing epigenetic therapies against ovarian, breast, germ cell and lung cancers, performing correlative analyses, and testing new hypotheses in the laboratory (bench-bedside-bench) • Characterizing and targeting ovarian cancer stem cells (OCSCs) using epigenetic drugs • Understanding and overcoming endocrine resistance in breast cancer using epigenetic approaches
