Dr. Zhang's research interests include:
1. Inflammatory lung disease and lung cancer. Investigating the molecular mechanisms of Inflammatory lung disease (airway inflammation) and lung cancer and discovering drug targetable biomarkers and developing cellular and immunotherapy to treat lung disorders 2. Allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation, graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and graft versus-leukemia (GVL). Exploring cellular mechanisms of GVHD post allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation, and developing innovative therapeutic strategies to prevent GVHD and enhance GVL activity
