Dr. Broxmeyer's research interests include:

Study of the mechanisms regulating blood cell production (hematopoiesis) of normal and abnormal cell regulation as assessed in vitro and in vivo at the level of proliferation/self-enewal/differentiation/apoptosis and homing/migration of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, as well as regulation in the context of oxygen tension and the microenvironment, and generation of induced pluripotent stem cells.
