Dr. Bey's research interests include:
Our current research focus includes investigating oxidative stress pathways that play a role in tumorigenesis. Developing novel therapies for treatment of cancer by exploiting oxidative stress. We are also interested in stem cell biology and the role of oxidative stress genes in cancer stem cells. We also have interest and experience in combining radiotherapy with investigative drugs in in vivo models of cancer including (Lung cancer; orthotopic brain tumors; surgically implanted pancreatic tumors and mammary fat pad breast tumors).
