Sickle Cell Disease: Designing Care for Life

Seethal Jacob, MD, and Andrew O’Brien, MD, discuss sickle cell disease and how they are working together to conduct research that improves sickle cell care in Indiana. Their research and that of their colleagues encompasses everything from telemedicine, acupuncture, pulmonary hypertension basic science research, and more. You’ll learn more about their work that focuses on the importance of designing comprehensive lifespan care to improve health outcomes for people living with sickle cell disease.
