The 2022 Cancer Research Day was immensely successful with more than 350 registered attendees and 114 abstract submissions. This year's event was held Oct. 12 at the IUPUI Campus Center as the first in-person Cancer Research Day since spring 2019.
Cancer Research Day aims to increase understanding and awareness of the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Cancer's research endeavors and encourage collaboration with other cancer research institutions in Indiana.
Students, fellows, and faculty conducting cancer research at IU School of Medicine, IUPUI, Indiana University-Bloomington, Purdue University, and the Harper Cancer Research Institute — a collaboration between IU School of Medicine-South Bend and the University of Notre Dame — presented their cancer research efforts through oral presentations and a poster session. All abstracts are available to view online.
Congratulations to all the participants from this year’s Cancer Research Day. Below are the winning poster abstracts.
The 2023 Cancer Research Day will return to its original spring schedule. Save the date for May 4, 2023.
