At the 18th annual Miles for Myeloma event on Sept. 24, more than 250 patients, families, supporters, and physician-scientists joined us to celebrate the myeloma program at Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The 17th Annual Miles for Myeloma

For the second year in a row, Miles for Myeloma, an annual cycling event that has raised $6.7 million for our myeloma research and enhanced patient care, was sidelined due to the COVID-19 pandemic.To commemorate the 17th annual event, program leader Rafat Abonour, MD, recently convened a small group of patients, cyclists, researchers, and supporters for a one-mile walk/ride in Eagle Creek Park.
