We can make lung cancer a rare cause of suffering and death in Indiana. Advancements in lung cancer prevention, detection, and treatment are happening at a record pace. We have the knowledge and tools to end lung cancer now.
It's a bold vision, and we're making it happen. We're spreading the word about modifiable risk factors. We're making screening more accessible. We're removing barriers to clinical trials. We're harnessing the passion of advocates across the state.
End Lung Cancer Now, an initiative of the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, is a statewide network of patients, survivors, caregivers, providers, researchers, and community advocates. Each person brings their own story and commitment to our goal: Eliminate the suffering and death caused by lung cancer in Indiana empowering communities with the knowledge and energy to make that vision real.

Current lung screening guidelines may miss some people who are at high risk for lung cancer. This new study, Lung Screening for Individuals at High Risk for Lung Cancer Who are Ineligible by USPSTF Criteria (Protocol IUSCCC-0945), explores broader eligibility criteria to help improve early detection and save lives.
