Member Biography

With over 20 years of experience in academic drug discovery, my research focuses on the importance of the immune system in promoting cancer growth and identifying new compounds to treat cancer and other diseases with critical unmet needs. One of the most gratifying aspects of my research career has been my extensive involvement in the preclinical development of the synthetic triterpenoid bardoxolone methyl, a potent activator of the Nrf2 pathway.
