Cancer Health Disparities Symposium

Cancer Health Disparities Symposium

The 2024 Cancer Health Disparities Symposium will be held on Tuesday, June 18, in Indianapolis. The goal of the symposium is to identify ongoing research and gaps, foster connections, and collaboration in cancer health disparities at Indiana University and the greater Indianapolis area.

The symposium is accepting abstracts for oral presentations from experts in cancer research and/or clinical care with a focus on social determinants of health; genetic and biological determinants of health disparities; health equity; culturally aware research practices; community engagement; health policy; or other health disparities-based research.

The Cancer Health Disparities Symposium is co-organized by Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination Core (CRTEC) and Office of Inclusive Excellence at the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center.

For questions about the symposium, please contact Daenique Jengelley, PhD, and for assistance with registration and abstract submission, please contact Steven Verhagen.
