The internationally renowned faculty members of the Brown Center for Immunotherapy have expertise in fields such as triple negative breast cancer, multiple myeloma, Alzheimer’s disease, and more.
Huda Salman, MD, PhD, the first executive director of the Brown Center for Immunotherapy, is also the Don Brown Chair in Immunotherapy and professor of medicine.
As executive director, Dr. Salman recruits and leads a team of scientists to improve the application of adult and pediatric cancer cell therapy, and pioneers its use for other diseases.
Before joining IU School of Medicine, Dr. Salman was an associate professor, section chief of hematological malignancies, and director of the CAR T-cell program at Stony Brook University and Stony Brook Cancer Center in Long Island, New York.
