Did you know that the cure for testicular cancer was discovered at Indiana University?

That’s just one of the life-saving breakthroughs at IU Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center—and that’s just one of the reasons why we’re the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in Indiana and one of only 57 in the nation. Plus, because we’re one of only 33 members of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, our physicians play a role in determining the recognized standard of care for those with cancer.

 We’re doing some really exciting things around here. Get ready to be astonished.

  • In the Race to Beat Cancer, Early Detection and Prevention Win. It’s time to take the lead, leaving cancer in the dust as you accelerate toward a strategy that includes early detection and prevention.
  • Buy a burger. Support the cancer center. “Burger Bash Delivered by ClusterTruck” is May 20 at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This free, fan event benefits the cancer center.
  • Recognize a patient, physician or caregiver who is in the race to beat cancer or honor the memory of someone affected by cancer. They’ll be recognized on our 500 Bricks to Beat Cancer backdrop at “Burger Bash Delivered by ClusterTruck” on May 20.
