My current research is in the field of developmental toxicology. I use zebrafish as a model system to identify chemicals among environmental pollutants that cause developmental perturbations or endocrine disruption. A special focus has been chemicals that interfere with metabolic pathways, so called obesogens. I am now transitioning into investigating exposure-induced cancer development.
