My research centers on leveraging advanced data science and informatics to revolutionize healthcare delivery. Currently, my focus on:
Data Infrastructure & Standardization: Enhancing data quality, establishing robust linkages, and standardizing diverse biomedical data to improve interoperability and drive impactful research.
Innovative Informatics Tools: Developing and evaluating tools that support data integration, clinical decision support, real-world data applications (like designing clinical trial eligibility and cohort discovery), and sophisticated data visualization, including knowledge graphs and ontology annotation.
AI & Machine Learning Applications: Applying cutting-edge techniques—including large language models and NLP—to extract insights from complex biomedical datasets, automate data-driven processes, and advance health informatics systems.
Looking forward, my plan to further bridge the gap between data science and clinical practice by:
Expanding strategic data ecosystems and infrastructures to support evolving institutional and research priorities.
Pioneering next-generation informatics solutions that integrate real-world data with advanced AI methodologies, enhancing precision medicine and patient engagement.
Continuing to innovate in the areas of eHealth and mHealth technologies, ultimately aiming to improve healthcare outcomes through more informed clinical decision-making.
