I am physician scientist with a research focus on improving therapy options for patients with melanoma and genitourinary cancers, specifically prostate and testicular cancers. As a clinical researcher, I have presented and published several articles on germ cell tumors. I am actively working with IUSCC faculty to evaluate novel therapeutic targets in germ cell tumors using our large database of patient samples. I am active in the GU clinical trials program enrolling patients on prostate cancer trials. In the future I plan to open melanoma clinical trials with our melanoma service.
Additionally, I am collaborating with Dr. Reza Shahbazi at IUSCC, where I am developing CRISPR lipid nanoformulations for targeted therapy in castration-resistant prostate cancer and melanoma. I am interested in developing novel therapeutics with CRISPR technologies to overcome known resistance mechanisms in prostate cancer and melanoma.
