My research focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms that regulate malignant and non-malignant hematopoietic stem cell behavior under hypoxic conditions. Specifically, I investigate how hypoxia-induced changes in calcium concentration and amino acid levels contribute to stem cell function and adaptation.
Future Research:
I aim to explore how hypoxic conditions regulate MYC liquid phase separation in both malignant and non-malignant stem cells, with a focus on understanding its role in stem cell maintenance, metabolic adaptation, and disease progression.
