I am a new assistant professor in the department of radiation oncology. My previous research is outlined in my attached CV and has focused on health disparities and population health. I was fortunate to be able to obtain a Masters of Public Health while in residency which gave me formal training in biostatistics, epidemiology and clinical trial design. As a new faculty member I plan to continue research in health disparities and outcomes and I hope to collaborate in the future with the Regenstrief Institute, The IU Center for Health Services and Outcomes Research and the IU Indianapolis Center for Cancer Population Analytics and Patient Centered Informatics. In addition to my interest in population level research, I would also like to utilize my training in clinical trial design to branch into clinical trials at both the institutional and cooperative group level. I will be working with residents on designing, implementing and reporting prospective trials, and I hope to collaborate with colleagues in Urology and Medical Oncology.
