Call for Submission: Retreat Scientific Exhibit / Poster Session
You are invited to submit an abstract for a poster presentation at the annual Amelia Project retreat on Saturday, July 14. This is an opportunity for attendees to share their efforts and results with others. All attendees of the Amelia Project are invited to participate.
All submissions are welcome.
To participate, simply complete the online abstract form by midnight EST June 15, 2018. Details are listed below. All authors will be asked to be available by their poster during the poster session which is tentatively scheduled from 12:15-2:30 p.m. July 14.
Exhibits and Lunch will be available in Alumni Hall
Please consider participating in this scientific exhibit. All ideas are welcome for consideration..
- Novel modalities or technologies for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment
- Synthesis and/or pharmacology of novel potential antitumor agents
- Cell and molecular biology of breast cancer
- Genetics of breast cancer
- Anticancer drug target identification and/or validation
- Nursing / Psychosocial Support / Genetic Risk Counseling
- Genetic Counseling Outreach / Results
All exhibits will be considered via online submission. No actual posters should be sent for consideration
Each abstract must have four sections:
All abstracts must have a title, author names, location address with designation of the author who is primarily responsible for the exhibit with their email address. The designated author must be a registered attendee at the conference.
Size of abstract submitted must be no larger than 8 1/2" x 11" and use font no smaller than 10 point using a Word compatible program.
All abstracts for exhibits are due by midnight EST, June 15, 2018.
Notification of abstract acceptance by email. Please review!
Exhibits must fit on presentation board measuring approximately 3'X6'.
Authors are responsible to set up posters by 9 a.m. on the day of the conference and for takedown by 5 p.m. the same day.
The goals of this session are to increase communication between the various research centers represented at the meeting and to advance knowledge that is useful to our attendees. Please consider participation in this educational and informative session.
