My research interests center around musculoskeletal pathology and the translational study of rare sarcomas and fusion-driven mesenchymal tumors. I am currently working on a large international and multi-institutional effort to characterize the methylation profile of a rare family of mesenchymal tumors with TFE3 gene rearrangements, including PEComas, clear cell stromal tumors of the lung, and TFE3-rearranged hemangioendotheliomas among others. Another future collaborative project involves the study and characterization of sarcomas with FGFR alterations.
