Our current research interest is focused on the identification of tumor signalings that cause cancer cachexia.
Using our cancer cachexia mouse models and cell lines, we aim to identify factors that cause muscle and fat wasting and subsequently validate them in humans.
Our ultimate goal is to interfere with cancer cachexia by modulating these newly identified factors/signaling pathways.
