Become a Member

Membership in the IU Simon Cancer Center is open to full-time faculty of Indiana University or IUPUI who contribute on some level to the overall mission of the cancer center in areas of research, education, patient care, or community outreach. Criteria for membership is further outlined in this section. Some benefits as well as responsibilities accompany membership. 

Faculty are generally proposed for membership by a research program leader or a department chair, but all interested and eligible people are invited to apply. Applications are reviewed for eligibility and a recommendation is made by the Executive Committee, with the final decision by the director. Eligibility of members is also reviewed on an annual basis to assure that the high membership standards of the IU Simon Cancer Center are maintained.
