My research interest is bioinformatics and computational biology, mostly focusing on gene regulation from transcription to translation, especially effects of epigenetic modifications and genetic mutations on gene expression and networks. As director of Collaborative Core for Cancer Bioinformatics (C3B), I oversee the bioinformatics services and training through the C3B, while conducting diverse analyses on next generation sequencing (NGS) data and public domain ‘-omics’ data, including RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC, Whole exome sequencing (WES), Whole genome sequencing, and CRISPR-CAS9 among others.
