Wearing a hat is one of the trendiest things to do when your hair falls out. However, don't wear wool hats right after your hair falls out, especially if it's warm outside. You're just asking for heat rash.

Instead of settling for a standard bandanna, buy fabric in patterns and colors that match your favorite outfits. Cut the fabric into a square and sew down the edges. Make sure the square is large enough to wrap around you entire head and still have room to tie. Flannel is great in winter; silky rayon is nice for summer. Girls, if there's extra fabric, you could try to sew up a matching purse or belt. Hey, there's nothing that says cancer patients have to be fashion victims!
