Indiana University Osteosarcoma Researchers to Participate in International Symposium
April 13, 2005: International leaders in the cancer and bone fields will gather April 28-30, 2005 for the only medical meeting in North America that specifically focuses on bone complications of cancer. Bone complications of cancer include bone loss resulting from cancer treatment and metastasis, or spreading of cancer from site of origin, to the bone. During this three-day symposium, clinicians and basic researchers will discuss cutting-edge research investigating such complications and how they may be better treated and prevented.

One of the plenary sessions, chaired by Dr. Hock, will address osteosarcoma. Also, Sean Werner and Jieping Yang, PhD, members of the Osteosarcoma Clinical Care and Research Program, will present posters.
