Volunteer

Miles for Myeloma exists because of the many volunteers that make the event possible each year. It is the passion and dedication of patients and their families that has raised more than $5 million in support of myeloma research and enhanced patient care since 2005. Do you want to make myeloma history? We hope you will join this wonderful community! Contact Lizzie Conkle at (317) 278-2120 or econkle@iu.edu for more details on any of these opportunities.

Ways to Get Involved

  • Volunteer to help plan Miles for Myeloma 2018: All are welcome to join our monthly planning committee meetings. This year they are at 3:15 pm at IUPUI on the following Thursdays: April 12, May 3, June 21, July 12, August 9

  • Assist the cyclists along the route: Want to be a part of the M4M journey, but not sure getting on the bike is right for you? We have a dedicated group of volunteers who serve as SAG or "Support and Gear" for our cyclists along the route. This group helps keep the cyclists safe along the route, while preparing for group meals and pit stops along the way.

  • Write a letter asking friends and family for their support of M4M or give to a patient campaign that honors someone special to you. For more information on this unique opportunity to support Miles for Myeloma, visit Help Us Help You.
